Ahh the weather is really bad where I am living… so rainy and unbearably cold.. days like these, I really do like to indulge myself in ballad songs (when I was younger I would put those songs on while I ride the bus and pretend like Im in like tragic kdrama). Any who, as you are tell by the title and this forceful introduction, the song I want to recommend this time is Downpour by I.O.I written and composed by Woozi!!!! Anyways~ the song I would like to include in this edition is Goodbye Summer- F(x) ft. D.O. As you all probably know by now, I am an Exotic== So of course I would follow their work, and one of my friend actually showed me this song on her ipodxD. But I will spare naming her name on this blog~ It’s about how this pair of childhood friend have feelings for each other but neither of them confessed and therefore now they are regretful because the summer they shared is gone? The moral of this song, CONFESS YOUR HEART OUT WHEN YOU HAVE THE CHANCE TO. Especially if the other party is as adorable as D.O heheheh. Give this song a try! My schedule has been so screwed over lately I completely forgot about updating this blog>< Anyways, the song I want to recommend today is 나비소녀 (Don’t Go)- EXO. Sorry to bombard this blog with all exo songs lately, it’s only cause I’m in love with them now. (or should I say I’m OVERDOSEDxD muahahahahha) It’s my favorite song by them- even though I am struggling with my econ final at the moment, I still find peace when listening to this marvelous song. The tune is fluffy and natural, a beat I really like. Enjoy the song below~

The song I want to recommend today is interesting a song that fit well within the fairytale theme I put up yesterdayXD Another song by EXO, Miracles in December. Apparently this came out with their christmas album? Even though the lyrics have nothing to really do with Christmas, except the fact that in the mv they seem to be filming in the winter.. The mv also had not-so-subtle ads for nature republic lol. This song I feel is made for Chen’s voice, it fits so well with the song it kinda killed me, but I loved it when Baekhyun came in with that last chorus opening, adding a nice twist towards the end. But expression wise- I’m really digging D.O’s monolooking face, if that makes any sense. Very beautifully sung, I declare myself an exotic! Hopefully the next song wouldn’t be EXO’s again:p
The song that has been on repeat on my ipod for the past day and a half is none other than Overdose by the rising boy band- EXO: boys from another planet a.k.a alien editionXDD I never paid close attention to EXO before, with these new kpop groups coming out, it can be tiring to follow all of them. Anyways, the reason why they got my attention was because I began watching this new korean variety show called Roommate- which Chanyeol from EXO is in. Obviously he left a good impression on me, so then of course I had to look up his band in return and ran into their new song! It’s quite a controversial day to to uploading this post since one of the member apparently wants out of their contract with SM. I’m beginning to think I’m cursed because every group I like seem to breakup: first with DBSK now with EXO. STOP IT

I am not sure if this is going to turn into something permanent or what, but for the meantime the plan is to post some kind of recommendation I personally grew fond of during my daily life. Now let’s get on to the rec. list!!!~
Today I will introduce 3 main songs for the purpose of this post as a kick-off for this blog~ Today’s theme is “Songs for first-time lovers”- ahh first love, what’s the image that come in your mind when you think about those words? Spring? Walking under freshly bloomed cherry blossoms? Or just a trip to the amusement park? For me, what defines “first love” is the atmosphere, the pure and innocent (at times naive) aura that all new couples have towering over them~I will introduce three songs that reminds me of that feeling down below~
1.) What I want to do once I have a lover- G.Na&Rain
-This is describing from a guy and girl’s perspective of how they each respectively look forward to doing with their future lovers~ I especially like when their voices joined together at the end, it’s a clever way of saying ultimately, both just want to be loved in the relationship despite their different expectationsXD
2.) 아저씨 (Feat. 제이레빗)- J.Rabbit
-This is a very fresh song for me since I just heard it this morning and fell in love with it! The topic is about a teenage falling in love with an “ahjussi”- uncle. The rapping part of the song is done by the ahjussi- saying they are impossible since the age gap would forbid them to have common interest/topics, definitely worth checking out!~
3.) 처음 사랑하는 연인들을 위해 (반말송)
-Ahhh the last spot on this list was hard for me to choose, but I ultimately went with my forever bias goguma couple!!!~ a.k.a yongseo couple. This song is written more tailored to their relationship especially with the banmal points empathized multiple times during the song, but the bigger picture is just one lover wants to other one to draw closer, so they can develop a more intimate and “real” relationship. I love this song! Also check out the live version of this song if you can~ I think I might even make another post dedicated this couple in the future kekekeke.
